How am I supposed to appeal this A-Z decision?|
by Seller_1xP3EnrTgbPyZ

A customer has claimed an FBM item as not received despite the usual proof (Royal Mail Signed For full tracking details and confirmation on Royal Mail website with delivery confirmed).

Amazon's response is to refund the Customer in full from my funds, but because I have proof the customer received the goods I don't get a strike.

As they say, "Because you provided sufficient information that proves the order was actually received by the customer, we will not count the claim against your Order Defect Rate"

In other words, "we can see that you delivered the item and on time, but the customer wants to keep their purchase and their money so we're just going to take from you and give it back to them."

Do I appeal? They already acknowledge they have evidence the item was delivered, so am I just wasting my time?

Hi fellow sellers,

I’m reaching out because like many of you, I’ve reached a breaking point with the way small businesses are treated by Amazon’s A-to-Z claims system and the lack of accountability from couriers like Evri.

Over the past few months, I’ve dealt with multiple cases where:

Buyers falsely claimed parcels weren’t delivered (despite GPS, signatures, or photographic evidence).

Amazon sided with the buyer automatically, refunding them without properly reviewing the evidence.

Couriers like Evri marked parcels as delivered or left them in insecure places, then refused to take responsibility.

Seller appeals were ignored or denied with copy-paste responses.

The only option left was to take court action just to recover the cost of lost goods and unfair refunds.

And I know I’m far from alone — I’ve seen hundreds if not thousands of similar stories here in the forums, across TikTok Shop discussions, Reddit, and Facebook seller groups.

Enough is enough.

I’ve now written a formal letter to:

My local MP

The Department for Business and Trade

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)

And I’m reaching out to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)

📢 What I’m Asking:

We need legal reform to:

Hold platforms like Amazon accountable when they dismiss seller evidence.

Introduce independent dispute resolution, not just biased internal appeal systems.

Regulate courier services like Evri when they repeatedly fail to deliver properly.

Protect sellers from fraudulent buyers with a clear record of abuse.

Make platforms share liability — instead of pushing all the risk onto sellers.

👉 If you’ve experienced similar issues, I strongly encourage you to write to your MP and government departments too. The more of us speak up, the more likely we’ll see change.

Let’s stop suffering in silence. We built our businesses with hard work — we deserve protection, not punishment.

ASIN- 0853347859

This Book is from 1978 (almost 40 years old) and is listed as NEW !

Obviously it isin't and is misleading to the buyer and it's just to get the buy box (featuted offer)

I have messaged the seller about this scam & I hope Amazon take note and take action, its just NOT fair

can any one please give me some advise as no one will speak to me. (Back story).

I have owned a seller account from pretty much the first day Amazon wanted sellers in the UK that’s around December 2000. We always tried to be the best seller we could be sourcing stock from major brands as well as bankrupt etc). In around Jan 2020 we started to really become a big seller, over a 4 year period we were in the top 2000 sellers and put out around 750k parcels during this time. AMZ took up all our time we worked on most occasions on 18 hours daily packing, sourcing and growing the business. Our main line was perfume and we dealt with various wholesalers & distributors, in early 2023 we had a few issues where clients were buying a product that when they were children/ young adults smelt different to how it smelt many years on and did not like it, but instead of just opening a return with the real reason they started claiming the items were not correct, which we addressed these don’t get me wrong in over 10,000 sales 1 may be 2 people were not happy, but AMZ stepped in and temporarily deactivated my account we had at this point over 5500 products listed, we took on staff and a lease and could not believe that this happened but we could not speak to anyone to help us , we lost everything the business was 90% amz orders. We had a big amount of money held around 15k which was first held for 90 days in case of issues which there were none and after a faceless video call a % of the money was released, for the past 2 years and 4 months over 4k has still been held and despite messages after messages, emails, phone calls no one wants to answer me and release my funds, which are 100% owned by me. Today again I asked to reactivate my account and release my funds but I know I will get an AI generic apply and the last time 6 months ago when I asked again for the funds that was the 48th time of emails, message etc still no reply. I am now completely out of things to do. Yes I would love to continue to sell on Amazon it was great and everything health wise on the account was perfect all above 99% always!!that’s including delivery rate, SLA’s everything but due to less than 0.004% of people not being happy one way or another this is what has happened. My mental health has been awful, this has been on going for years now and it’s my owed money. I have done everything and more asked of me yet it’s always fallen on death ears. I have said in writing many times if my account gets reactivated I will not sell any products where a paper trail is not in place and everything will be run correctly but the money now is very very important and it just will not be released and it’s been 2 years and 4 months plus the initial 90 days, so even longer does anyone have any ideas as I just don’t know what else I can do?. Thank you all in advance.

Hello

I keep getting this error when I create a shipment for FBA. I have been getting it for approx 2 months.

All of my packages are well within the max size and weight that DPD allow.

I have tried and tried contacting amazon seller support for no help forthcoming.

There was a previous thread but not sure if it got resolved and it is locked

https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/seller-forums/discussions/t/fb2e62f0-90d6-459f-8dc0-f79b2b7442d5

Can anyone help please?

I have attached a screenprint

Kind regards

Total lack of Intelligence...

Well this Safety compliance error and subsequent appeal has now happened on multiple occasions so beginning to wonder if it is a common issue and if other sellers have experienced the same.

Occurring on multiple established products with strong category sales, feedback and with perfect account health, It will be early in the morning and a bot decides the listing is non compliant for spurious safety reasons and restricts the listing. after a successful appeal the listing does not automatically reinstate stock is stranded starting the usual chain of events.

Contact to seller support to reinstate does nothing and it is referred to "the appropriate department" and nothing happens!

One time a dog lead that apparently did not have the correct certification for a climbing harness! but as most humans would know a dog lead is not a climbing harness.

This time a best seller on the morning of the first day of the prime event after spending thousands in advertising building up to that moment and the day after Amazon recommending suggesting 2000 more are urgently sent in to FBA Amazon.

Now with these Prime days coming to an end as a seller we are left with a fraction of planned sales, stranded inventory , stock on the way to FBA also to become stranded and the loss of a significant advertising investment. Yet still the listing is not reinstated despite the fact there is no compliance issue in the account health dashboard and support cases unanswered and simply showing "Work In Progress".

just wanted to vent!
by Seller_eIYKbn9rbJMRl

Another buyer that doesn't read the item, then requests a return, and Amazon automatically refund immediately - without it being zapped by the Post Office (impossible on a Sunday!). She claims she thought this was a CD, and can't play vinyl. It'll be interesting to see if I actually get the item back.

We’ve updated our Bulk Image Upload tool so you can add multiple images to your product detail pages more efficiently.

Previously, the tool stopped at the first error it encountered in an uploaded zipped file, requiring you to fix errors individually and re-upload the entire file after each fix.

Now, it processes all valid images and provides an error report for any rejected files. You can view and fix all errors at once before you re-upload, making the process faster with fewer repeated steps.

To use the tool, go to Bulk Image Upload.

For more information, go to Upload images in Image Manager.
