Amazon FBA - selling in UK, Europe and US

Hi everyone,

i will be looking to sell my product on Amazon UK using the Fulfilment service. My products will be sent to a UK amazon fulfilment centre. I have a few questions regarding how my product will be available to the rest of the world (the rest of Europe and US):

  1. Can my product still be sold to countries in the EU using the method mentioned above?
  2. Are there any additional charges for this?
  3. Would my product be available to US customers using the method mentioned above? If so, are there any additional charges for this?
  4. If my product is not available to US customers, what do i need to do in order for it to become available?

Thank you in advance!!

  1. yes. Go to your seller central settings and select “26 countries” in “Shipping programmes and export settings”. Only customers buying on amazon.co.uk can buy for shipping to their country
  2. no
  3. No
  4. Send stock to US fulfilment centres yourself. USA is handled totally separately to EU

Look up PAN-EU for alternative fulfilment where stock is shipped throughout EU fulfilment centres.

extra note. If you are not UK resident or have UK company registered, then you need to registered for VAT from day 1; not threshold applied.

Thanks guys, you might find this article helpful: https://andrewminalto.com/vat-amazon-fba-trap/

I think i am going to stick with Amazon UK for now. All the tax and vat implications in different countries is complicated and costly!!! I will be listing my product on Amazon UK for now, however my understanding is that the product can still be purchased from other countries, including the US (if they land on the UK amazon site)

  • in terms of the additional fees (deliveries and returns) would all these additional costs be incurred by the customer?
  • will amazon FBA fees change at all or will they remain the same when dealing with international deliveries?

Thank you
