Despatching with Parcel2Go

I am posting my product using the Yodel Direct option via Collectplus purchased through Parcel2Go. This is tracked, and, apart from some glitches in the summer when there was an IT issue, it has proved very reliable. I understand that Yodel Direct is a brand owned by Parcel2Go and is separate from Yodel.

However, when I try to enter this onto the portal as Parcel2Go when I despatch items it shows as being not valid for tracking and doesn’t show on the stats. I have no problems on eBay where I enter the short (7 digit) number generated by the scanner. Am I doing this correctly or is there another way to enter the despatch details so the portal will accept this as valid?

I use Yodel for some of mine, though I do buy via Yodel Direct website (CollectPlus) - I prefer that as if you need to increase the cover for more expensive items you can do that…

Are you confirming shipment manually and individually ?
If manually then you choose Yodel from the first dropdown, then Other, and type in the service (I put 72hr) and then the long number under barcode into the tracking box, NOT the YOD****** number as that is not the one that is scanned.
I have had 100% VTR for many months now.
