🚨 How to Report Incorrect Brand Name Changes

We have engaged with many of you, hear you, and we understand the frustration and potential impact this can have on your business. First, we want to assure you that we are actively working with our internal teams to address this issue. Your feedback is invaluable, and we're committed to improving the selling experience for all of our partners.

If you experience an unauthorized brand name change, please follow these steps:

1. Submit a report through the "Report Abuse" feature

2. Select "Product detail page was changed to represent a different product"

3. We suggest sellers to provide relevant details such as when the ASIN was created, by whom, and what the brand name was originally.

4. We're continuously monitoring these reports and working to streamline the resolution process.

However, if your report is declined, please don't hesitate to create a discussion post in the "Manage Your Brand" category and be sure to include your complaint ID for faster follow-up.

We want to emphasize that we're taking this matter seriously and our teams are collaborating to develop more robust safeguards against unauthorized brand name changes. We appreciate your patience as we work towards a more secure and efficient system.

Hi everyone,Hoping someone in the community can help or offer advice.

My seller account has been fully deactivated over ASIN B01FZGW9XE (a Rolling Stones licensed product), even though it was sourced in good faith back in January 2019 from Lasgo Worldwide Media, a reputable UK supplier of Rolling Stones Branded Products.

At that time, there were no brand restrictions or gating — we were selling legitimately and well within Amazon’s policies. 

But now, years later, we’re being penalised for something that was compliant at the time. It feels like Amazon is moving the goalposts, and there’s no real path to getting a fair review.

I’ve submitted: The original 2019 invoice

A detailed POA basically falling on my sword

Explanations of the timelineBut the responses have been robotic templates with no sign of a human review.

Appeals are getting shut down without meaningful feedback.

Has anyone here experienced something similar and managed to get it resolved?

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

8572 Error NO Help From Amazon

We are currently facing Error 8572 after multiple attempts to resolve the issue, having provided all requested documentation to Amazon. Despite opening a support ticket, the only response I receive is that the matter is pending and will be escalated, with an internal team supposedly working on it. Unfortunately, I am not receiving any assistance in resolving this issue, even after supplying every document required. The GS1 EAN is owned by the brand, which is registered under the same company name on Amazon, and the brand itself is also registered with Amazon.

Hello all

Is anyone aware how I can see any savings from using packgroups when sending products to sell FBA?

Although only estimations, the potential savings made by using packgroups can impact margins substantially. Our understanding is savings are made on fee's, rather than a direct cash insentive.

If anyone knows how to check this to undertand whether the savings are worth it (or even applied atall) please let me know.

hello im a new seller on amazon...its over a month and i am unable to ungate grocery category which has already cost me hundreds of pounds...i have bought stuff from uks 2 largest wholesalers and my invoices are still not getting accepted and the worse is no one responds where im wrong or whats missing in these invoices...some people suggest that i should keep trying but when i apply again the new application gets rejected within a minute which shows no one is even going through my application...my question is if amazon does not accept one of uks largest wholesalers invoices then what is left to provide them...extremely frustrated

Lost the buy box eligibility overnight. Tried to lower the prices by £5 in some cases just to test it out and nothing.

We meet all of the buy box eligibility criteria.

- Just double checked and no chargeback claims

- Provide great customer service (check)

- Ensure product authenticity and quality (check)

I have a product that was removed due to a trademark issue, I removed the infringing term and confirmed with customer service that it had been removed cleanly and then submitted the information but it still didn't go through so I tried to contact the account status team to find out why it didn't go through but the calls consistently reported an error and couldn't get through.

We're applying to be approved to sell 2 brands for new items via FBA.

In the window where we submit evidence to sell these brands, we're asked for an invoice of 10 units which we then provide. No issues.

However after submitting, seller support rejects our request, and claims we actually we need **50** units total.

Has anyone had this? I can already tell that seller support won't move from this, nor explain why it's x5 the unit requirement. What's the way forward?

Hi everyone,

I’m posting here out of frustration and in the hope someone from Amazon or the community can help.

My Amazon UK account for Jactz Ltd has been deactivated due to a VAT establishment issue, and despite being fully compliant and submitting all required documents, I’ve had no response from Amazon for months.

I’ve submitted:

All VAT returns

Proof of UK business establishment (address, bank statements)

My UK VAT registration details

I’ve sent this to vatsubmit@amazon.com three times this week, with the most recent email sent today (21 July). Still, I’ve received no reply, no acknowledgment, and no progress.

Every attempt to open a case in Seller Central gets ignored or closed without resolution. It’s severely impacting my business, and I just need to know whether my documents are even being reviewed.

Has anyone been through this and managed to get a real response?

Any advice on how to escalate or get eyes on this?

Frustrating Safe-T Claim appeal

We’re repeatedly being denied a SAFE-T claim for an order where we clearly followed the spirit of your policy:

The buyer contacted us requesting a replacement, not a refund.

We dispatched the replacement promptly to resolve the issue quickly.

The customer even contacted Amazon support to stop the refund and ensure we get paid.

He told us directly: “I don’t want you to not get paid for the scooter.”

Despite quoting Amazon’s own reimbursement policy and providing full message history, we continue receiving copy-paste denials. We’re now left out of pocket for both the replacement and the refund—despite doing the right thing and prioritising customer satisfaction.

I’m not writing over £80—no one’s life ends over that—but this is someone’s livelihood. All I ask is that a human being reads the case and gives it a fair look.
