Per Item Fee on FBA

by Seller_veUfohGRcMVDU

I have used the Amazon FBA calculator on their website which does not feature what they call a Per Item Fee. In my own inventory however, I can see that this fee appears based on a breakdown on items being shipped via FBA. I cannot understand why I didn’t see this fee on their calculator page.

After consulting support, they explained that I need to get a monthly subscription to avoid paying this fee per sale. But then if I do this, wouldn’t I be paying for selling on Amazon twice? Once via the monthly cost, and then again for FBA fees when items sell?

Can someone please clarify?

Thanks

FBA fees are per item and nothing to do with your subscription.

Seller/referral fees are cheaper overall with a pro subscription if you sell more than 34 items a month.
