Reused UPS tracking numbers
Bit worrying - i sent two boxes to FBA yesterday with UPS
the tracking on Amazon Shipping Plan just shows that I have shipped them - no further updates
I’ve just gone onto the UPS website and checked the tracking and both tracking numbers have previously been used - one in July and one on April
Anyone know if this will be a problem ?
here’s what i see on UPS - obviously only the most recent one in Carlisle is mine

I doubt it will be a problem if everything runs as it should.
Only start to worry, if there is a problem receiving…
They must rotate numbers at some point, but how often that would be, I haven’t got a clue.

I’ve had the same thing happen. This is my first-ever attempt at using FBA and the whole process is confusing enough, but now I’ve got this added weirdness.
My inbound parcel for the Coventry fulfilment centre (label created 9 Nov 2021 and package collected by UPS on 11 Nov 2021) was apparently delivered 12 Aug 2021!
The status for yesterday (12 Nov 2021) is showing as:
" On the Way The package is being held for a future delivery date. We’ll attempt to deliver on the date requested."
Should I be worried that it is stuck in Tamworth, or have you regular FBA users had this happen but with eventual success?
Thanks

Thanks so much @Smiley_Guy for the reply (and to @The_Little_Shop for posting this thread in the first place). I’d have spent hours and hours of my time worrying and trying to chase this up if it weren’t for your helpful info.
Cheeers.

Update — My inventory has now been received at the Coventry fulfilment centre, and all of my products have been reconciled.
Just out of interest I went back to check what the UPS tracking progress page said, and the line for 12 August 2021 that previously said “DELIVERED” (as seen in the screenshot above), has been amended to say “signature obtained” instead:
It was always clear from the dates that my package couldn’t possibly have been delivered three months before it was actually picked up, so I was fairly confident that if I needed to open a helpdesk query then it would be fairly obvious that the system was at fault rather than me. However, the fact that someone can retroactively change details in audit trails is now making me nervous again!
