What is Error 5461?

This error appears when you attempt to create a new ASIN but don't yet have approval to list products for that specific brand, even if you have a valid GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) from GS1.

How to Resolve Error 5461?

1. Submit a Brand Approval Application

Your first step is to submit a brand approval application through Seller Central. Here's what you'll need:

  • Exact brand name as it appears on the product
  • Product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, or JAN)
  • Clear, high-quality images showing:

-> The product

-> Product packaging

-> Brand name

_> Barcode

2. For Brand Owners

If you own the brand, make sure your Brand Registry account is properly linked to your Seller Central account. This connection helps streamline the approval process.

3. Wait for Approval

After submitting your application:

  • Processing typically takes up to 24 hours
  • Once approved, you can begin creating new listings for the brand
  • Keep checking your Seller Central notifications for updates

  • Always check if the product already exists in Amazon's catalog before creating a new ASIN

Inventory Removal from Amazon UK Seller Central

Greetings

The amazon UK seller central was deactivated due to vat issues after some months we tried to remove our inventory from Amazon UK warehouse but amazon have closed all option regarding removal.

we can only open case for activation of the account and apart from it there is no option.

How can we remove our inventory from amazon UK ?

CANCELLATION RATE

I have been selling for a year on Amazon high end laptops been doing fine all 100% perfect account everything reading 0 and 100% feedback. Got an order a few days ago thought I had taken it off my stock but was still on, sure it was an Amazon issue, as sure I took it off but anyway. I offered the customer a free upgrade customer, never responded. I did contact the mobile on the order and a guy answered and said he did not place an order on Amazon and this mobile should not been on this order . So I proceeded to cancel the order as possibly it being fraud. Now my precancellation rate is rising everyday as no orders for a week my listings have no buy box and because no orders the rate is now 33% as do not sell volume . THIS FOR ONE ORDER IN A PREFECT ACCOUNT!! The preceding month took £20,000 in sales. SURELY THIS CANNOT BE RIGHT FOR ONE CANCELLED ORDER.

Can Amazon look at this, or do I assume no sales for 7 days, then the metric will go back to zero and this is just Amazon treating us like we are all dodgy and do not care about our businesses I am a naughty boy here is some punishment for you !! One stock error has this implication on a good account is quite ridiculous!!!

I received a product authenticity complaint a few months ago, and have had appeals rejected due to insufficient documentation. Since then, I have been provided additional documentation from my supplier, which was supplied to Amazon on 30 May 2025. I have not heard back since, and would be grateful for an update regarding this submission. Additionally, if there are any further questions, please let me know.

Can anyone please explain why my account won’t accept a card I log in use my card for standard Amazon pay the fees and did the 1 POUND / EURO transaction to verify my card sent in bank statements and ID but it’s still saying card need to be verified I click what they need and send what they want but still nothing and customer service is not great they do nothing either

I am reaching out regarding my brand, Costanzo Enrico, which is a registered trademark. While the registered trademark was initially submitted as CE Costanzo Enrico Collezioni (which included an emblem and slogan which was incorrect), all our products, packaging, and marketing materials display only the name Costanzo Enrico. This is the correct and intended public-facing brand name.

Unfortunately, my listings are still showing the full name, CE Costanzo Enrico Collezioni, causing a conflict when I attempt to edit or update ASINs. This inconsistency is impacting the integrity of my brand presentation.

I’ve raised this issue previously, including in Case ID: 11218240712, but have received mixed responses—some indicating it will be resolved, and others suggesting it's not possible. I feel like I’ve been going in circles and would greatly appreciate your support in resolving this properly.

To clarify: I am not requesting a change to the trademark itself, but rather the brand display name to appear as Costanzo Enrico, which accurately reflects how our customers recognize the brand—similar to how "Nike" is used, not "Nike Just Do It."

Please let me know what documentation or steps are needed to make this adjustment.
