The box may incur large package surcharge
If package length plus twice the width plus twice the height exceeds 330 centimeters (130 inches), UPS applies a "Large Package Surcharge."
Example: For a box measuring 91cm x 71cm x 71cm, the length (91cm) plus twice the width (2 x 71cm) and twice the height (2 x 71cm) equals 375cm. UPS will accept the box, but they may apply a Large Package Surcharge because it is greater than 330cm.
The box exceeds the maximum size allowed by the carrier and must be repackaged
UPS package length cannot exceed 270 centimeters (108 inches). The package length combined with twice the width plus twice the height cannot exceed 419 centimeters (165 inches). If possible, repack the contents in multiple boxes. If not, consider using a different carrier.
Example: A box measuring 90cm x 85cm x 85cm exceeds the maximum dimensions. The length (90cm) plus twice the width (2 x 85cm) and twice the height (2 x 85cm) equals 430cm.
