Partnered carrier options

Note: Starting October 1, 2019, the Partnered Carrier Programme is reducing rates by 14% for shipments sent from a UK address to a local Amazon fulfilment centre.

This page provides information on the Partnered Carrier option available to FBA sellers for domestic and cross-border small parcel deliveries. If you do not know yet about the benefits of this programme, visit this page to learn more.

How to opt in for the Partnered Carrier Programme


  1. When you are preparing your delivery to the fulfilment centre via the delivery creation workflow (step Prepare shipment in the workflow), in the Delivery Service section you will see the option to use our partnered carrier.
    Note: For cross-border deliveries, this option will only be enabled for eligible deliveries. Only small parcel deliveries originating in an Amazon European marketplace and being delivered to any of our European fulfilment centres are permitted.
  2. Once you enter the details of your delivery, you will receive an estimate for the delivery charges so you can decide if you wish to use our partnered carrier for that particular delivery.
  3. Before accepting the delivery charges, carefully review the Amazon contractual terms and conditions for participation in the programme, as well as the carrier terms and conditions.
  4. Click Accept charges.
  5. After you have completed your delivery, contact your carrier to schedule the pickup. Alternatively, you can take the package yourself to a local carrier’s pickup centre.

delivery charges are dependent on the dimensions and weight of the parcel(s), the address from which the delivery originates and the destination fulfilment centre. The estimated cost of these charges will be subject to adjustment if Amazon or the carrier determines that the actual weight and/or dimensions of the package are different from the weight and/or dimensions provided by you. Important: Once you have accepted the partnered carrier delivery charges, you must contact your carrier to schedule a pickup. Click here for more information on how to schedule a pickup.
Important notice concerning the transportation of hazardous materials: Transporting dangerous goods and/or hazardous material (Hazmat) is prohibited from the Partnered Carrier Programme. Learn more about the FBA Delivery and routing requirements.

Cancel an Amazon-Partnered Carrier Service Shipment

You can cancel a Partnered Carrier shipment up to 24 hours after having approved the estimated shipping charges. To do so, follow these steps:


  1. In your seller account, go to Shipping Queue.
  2. Locate the delivery and click the Work on shipment button.
  3. Under the Delivery Service section, click Void Charges.
Important: Cancelling the delivery does not cancel the inbound transportation fees for the Amazon Partnered Carrier Programme. You must follow the steps above. If 24 hours have passed since you approved the charges, you will not be able to cancel the charges or receive a refund.

Please note that the UPS Partnered Carrier Programme does not provide service to addresses in the following territories:

Amazon Marketplace Web Service

Amazon Partnered Carrier options can also be accessed through the Amazon Marketplace Web Service. Follow the steps below to enable this service, which is currently available for domestic deliveries only:


  1. Log into your Seller Central account and go to Settings Fulfilment by Amazon.
  2. Under Amazon Partnered Carrier (Small Parcel Deliveries) - MWS Settings, tick the tick box to accept the relevant terms and conditions of both Amazon and your carrier.
    Note: You must repeat this action for each Amazon Marketplace for which you wish to use this service.
  3. Once you have accepted the terms and conditions, you will be able to use the programme through MWS following the instructions on this page.
