Assign products to a Prime shipping template

Assign SKUs to a Prime shipping template

There are four ways to assign SKUs to a Prime shipping template, depending on how many you are assigning:

  1. Using Manage SFP page in Seller Central:
    • Click on the Enrol items to Seller Fulfilled Prime tab. On this page, you can select one of the following options:
      1. Change the shipping template to a Prime template at SKU-level.
      2. Select the SKUs that you want to assign to your Prime template, press “Change delivery template on items selected” and then select Prime template from the drop-down menu.
Note: The “Manage SFP” page is only available for sellers who have graduated into Seller Fulfilled Prime.
  2. Using Amazon Selling Coach:
    • In Amazon Selling Coach, you can review your best-selling inventory that has been recommended for enrolment into Seller Fulfilled Prime.
    • Select the SKUs that you want to update, then click on the template name in the Actions field to change the shipping template to your Prime shipping template.
  3. Using Manage Inventory in Seller Central:
    • On the Manage Inventory Page, the shipping template name is displayed next to the Price for each SKU.
    • Select the SKUs that you want to update, click Actions in the top left-hand corner, then select Change shipping template.
    • Select Change shipping template (below Manage Inventory), choose your Prime template, then click Yes continue on the following screen.
  4. Using feeds (recommended for making more than 50 changes)
    • Excel feed: The Inventory Loader file has a column named merchant-shipping-group-name. You can use this file to assign SKUs to shipping templates. In the file, within the merchant-shipping-group-name column, enter Nationwide Prime (or whatever you have called your Prime shipping template) and enter the SKUs that you would like to enrol in the SKU column.

Check which SKUs are assigned to a shipping template

You can check which SKUs are assigned to which shipping templates using one of three ways:

  1. From the Manage SFP page in Seller Central (enables you to view your SFP shipping template)
    • This page allows Seller Fulfilled Prime sellers to view information about their current Seller Fulfilled Prime SKUs and eligible SKUs.
    • Check which SKUs are assigned to your SFP shipping template by clicking on the “Track Seller Fulfilled Prime items” tab.
Note: The “Manage SFP” page is only available for sellers who have graduated into Seller Fulfilled Prime.
  2. From the Manage Inventory page in Seller Central (enables you to view all your shipping templates)
    • In Manage Inventory, the shipping template name is displayed next to the Price for each SKU. Click on the template name to go to the template page.
    • On the Product Edit Page, which you can find by clicking Edit for a SKU on the Inventory Page. Once on the Product Edit Page, scroll down to find the shipping template assigned to the SKU.
  3. Using the Active Listings Report (enables you to view all your shipping templates)
    • Download the active listings report, which you can find under Inventory Reports; this will show which SKUs are assigned to each shipping template.

Shipping overrides

Shipping overrides are no longer supported in Shipping Settings. Historical shipping overrides data stored in Amazon's systems will no longer be enforced and new shipping override feeds will not be processed. Sellers should use multiple shipping templates to configure different shipping settings for different SKUs instead. You can find more information about this on our help page Migrate to the new Shipping Settings.
