This page provides information about Pallet Shipping with Amazon Freight
Amazon Freight is Amazon’s middle-mile logistics solution and offers Full-Truckload or Less-than-Truckload freight in the UK, with the exception of the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland, for UK-based sellers, whether it will be Inbound to one of Amazon’s Fulfilment Centres or to any other destination.
High load acceptance rate: Once Amazon Freight accepts your loads, they make sure that they are not rejected. In a case where your load is not sourced, Amazon Freight will take ownership and proactively reschedule the load in cases of straight-through transit.
Reliability: Amazon Freight controls booking of all FC Inbound slots, which helps with optimisation of ordering patterns, reduced push-outs, and reduced time to deliver to FCs.
Network Overview: Amazon Freight has a strong understanding of the network of Amazon FCs and supply chain, and uses this to leverage the earliest available slot into the network across all available FCs.
Visibility: Amazon Freight has visibility into Network Health* and FC/Supply Chain levers, which means that they can provide you with direct assistance for your Inbound shipments, and add value for more efficient shipment handling and tracking.
Amazon Tools: Amazon Freight is integrated into the Amazon systems and therefore can provide a high standard of experience when shipping Inbound into Amazon FCs.
Complementary Programme Adoption: Improved programme compatibility, e.g. FTL Ordering, Full Pallet, PICS. While full-truck/full-pallet ordering and PICS are well suited to consolidating your orders of fast-moving and sortable goods, Amazon Freight is equipped to ship these Inbound loads to Amazon FCs.
Competitive – dynamic prices: It is based on market conditions. Amazon Freight offers both spot and contracted rates. For spot rates, you can sign up directly on Amazon Freight’s self-serve load-booking portal, and for contracted rates, you can contact and work with Amazon Freight Account Managers and request prices for each of your lanes.
