Under German legislation, the German tax authorities can issue notices or garnishment orders informing us that they have identified a seller that they believe is not VAT compliant in Germany, and requiring that we stop the seller from selling on Amazon.de.
Sellers on Amazon must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
If we receive a notice or garnishment order related to your seller account, you may no longer sell on Amazon.de, and you are no longer allowed to use our Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service in connection with Amazon.de. In addition, you may no longer offer to ship products to Germany on any of Amazon's European websites, and you may also no longer use our FBA service to ship products to Germany.
How to resolve my VAT status?
If you can no longer sell on Amazon.de because of a German VAT notice or garnishment order, contact the German tax authority at the address provided in your Performance notifications to resolve your VAT status. We may allow you to sell on Amazon.de again once you have resolved your VAT status with German tax authority, and the German tax authority informs us that their notice has been withdrawn.
