Dear Amazon Seller Forum Moderators and Fellow Sellers,
I am raising this issue publicly because I am extremely disappointed with my experience of the Amazon Vine programme, and Seller Support is not providing an appropriate category to submit my complaint.
I enrolled 25 units of my Livesta product in Amazon Vine on 12 September 2026, hoping to establish trust and grow my small business on Amazon Australia.
**Here is the situation as of 15 October 2026:**
- Units enrolled: 25
- Units claimed: ONLY 4
- Reviews received: ONLY 2
- Vine enrolment fee charged: A$253
I have been charged A$253 despite receiving only TWO reviews and having just FOUR units claimed.**
As a small Australian seller investing my own money into launching a new brand, I find this extremely disappointing, financially discouraging and unfair.
I understand Amazon Vine has a tier-based pricing structure and that enrolment fees are not directly linked to the number of reviews received. However, I strongly question the fairness of charging the entire amount despite such limited participation.
Amazon promotes Vine as a way to support sellers and help build customer trust. But how is it reasonable for a small business to pay A$253 when only four units have been claimed after more than a month?
What is even more frustrating is that Seller Support does not provide a suitable option to raise a Vine enrolment fee dispute.** Every attempt to raise my complaint directs me towards unrelated subscription fee categories.
I am not asking Amazon to change its published policy. I am asking Amazon to consider the actual circumstances and demonstrate some fairness and flexibility towards small sellers.
My request to Amazon moderators:
1. Please escalate my complaint to the Amazon Vine programme or billing team.
2. Please consider a full goodwill refund of the A$253 enrolment fee due to the extremely limited participation.
3. Please advise how sellers can raise Vine billing complaints when Seller Support does not provide the correct category.
4. Please provide a meaningful response rather than simply repeating the standard Vine fee policy.
I would also like to hear from other sellers: Have you experienced similarly low participation in Amazon Vine despite paying the full enrolment fee? Has anyone successfully obtained a goodwill refund?
This experience has seriously affected my confidence in the Vine programme. I sincerely hope Amazon takes concerns from small businesses seriously.
Thank you.
