Charge method not verified
Hey there, I know you probably had this question a million time, but I've entered my debit card and did receive a verification transaction to my account, however, I got an email saying Amazon is unable to verify my charge method. My bank says it's because Amazon sent an Offline verification, and Revolut does not allow that for security reasons, so Amazon needs to send me an online verification.
Is that so? And how can I speak to someone to get that resolved?
I have seen some people saying Amazon does not accept debit cards, is that the case? Nothing was EVER mentioned about that when I signed up, and when you enter your charge details it says Credit Card/Debit Card.
I am on a course to learn how to sell on Amazon, and I can't get started. Can anybody help please?
Thank you.

Debits might have worked ages ago for initial account formation but Amazon has become pretty strict about your card on file being a credit card.

SOME debit cards will work (for now, at least). But Amazon really wants a CREDIT card.
Get used to Amazon being somewhat ambiguous; it's sort of the norm. That's why it's a good idea to peruse the forums, to find out what the reality is, rather than what the "help" files might lead you to believe (but stay away from YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

Hello @Seller_WrInuhRLACR7s,
Thank you for reaching out. As mentioned by our sellers on your post. You must have a valid real credit card. It can not be a debit card or prepaid. Amazon may charge a debit card for fees, but will restrict your account or listings until a true credit card has been issued.
If you click HERE I have provided some resources on updating your credit card.
Please let me know if you require additional assistance.
Best of luck.
Cheers,
Micah
