Ups shipping is a real issue.
Recently, Amazon issued a UPS return label for a book return. The book ($49.00) was sent back to us and was received with considerable damage. We filed a claim with UPS and they paid for the book. Unfortunately, they sent the check to Amazon not to us. I am trying to figure out how to now get our money back. We have notified UPS and hopefully they will cancel the Amazon check and send us the money and maybe they won't. We don't know yet.
They reason I am putting this on the Forum is because this is so outrageous. I can't even understand why they sent the book back "to us" but do not understand why they would then "send the Money to Amazon. " In addition, when Amazon uses UPS for returns we always have to pay a lot more than USPS costing us MORE money. Did we send it UPS? NO. We shipped USPS so why PUNISH us by doing a UPS return costing more?
I suppose we will again have to file our tax return with this under theft.
Has anyone else had something like this happen? Does anyone else want to chime in on this issue?

Hello @Seller_tA49ZfprDZiYK I am following up on your issue with an incorrectly applied UPS claim credit.
If you can share a Case ID I will share it with our partner team and ask them to make sure the amount is correctly applied.
Prepaid return shipping services
Return shipping for seller-fulfilled orders through Buy Shipping services are issued either through UPS or USPS.
USPS First Class mail ships most items under 1 lb and UPS Ground ships items from 1 to 150 lb.
The suggestion to provide the option for Media Mail prepaid returns has been shared with our returns team. However: USPS does not offer media Mail as an option for commercial customer returns.
