Deactivated Seller Account

Hi all…I tried to set up a seller account at the end of September to shift some of my books I no longer need from courses completed at uni. I sent off passport details as requested, bank statements for proof of address and on the 1st October I get an email from uk-tam-blended-911@amazon.co.uk saying Amazon have deactivated my account. I assume has been deactivated in error but i have no way of finding out as no one is getting back to me with any assistance, I’ve opened an appeal back on the 1st (the same day the account was deactivated). I opened a case log after a few days to see if anyone could give me a reason and all you receive a pre typed churned out email telling you to look at the account health which just says open appeal WHICH IVE DONE so this is zero help, so i tried again and left my number asking if someone could phone me as i cant find a number to ring them and i got the same churned out email again with the addition of a note saying they had tried to phone me on the number which they blatantly hadn’t as i had the phone sat in front of me all day. So i waited a few more days hoping someone would shed some light but still no contact or update to my appeal so i contacted them again on the 9th and asked them not to just regurgitate the standard email and actually please look into my appeal and though i did still get the bog standard churned out email it did say he was passing my case to a skilled team member to get me account reactivated. That was 9 days ago and 18 days since the account was deactivated and i have had nothing. My account was deactivated before it was even fully activated and no one will tell me what i need to do to rectify this issue. I can literally sort this out in 2 minutes if someone would just get back in touch and let me know what the issue is. Its insane and makes no sense, its the worst service i have ever experienced. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?? i know its a long shot as I’ve done everything they have asked but my account hasn’t even been activated fully so how can it be deactivated without reason? Or can anyone give me a phone number that I can ring to speak to someone in person at Amazon

If you only opened your account in September then you are probably going through verification. This is currently taking 2/3 months and your account will be suspended until then. Post the email from Amazon on here for the forum to advise- also your appeal response

That’s the e-mail you need to post on here as it should explain why your account was deactivated. Without that information, no-one on here can really advise you. Suspension of new accounts is routine while you go through verification but deactivation is more serious and suggests a definite problem with your details.

By the way, if you need to post more information, please split it into paragraphs. It’s very difficult to read a solid block of text

Important…that email address you mentioned in your first post, uk-tam-blended-911@amazon.co.uk does not sound at all right

Its possible you may have been hacked, you obviously would have cliked on it.

Are you able to post the full email you received on the 1st October to this thread

Hi GiftsatEwood, Hovering over the link shows the same address

Email regarding passport was from apuk-seller-verification-enquiry@amazon.co.uk
