Insane FedEx Re-rate on a package. Amazon and FedEx are refusing to help.
On March 10th we shipped a product that we ship every single day. The box measures 20x20x5 inches and weighs 22 pounds. Every single day we ship these packages. We purchased the shipping label through Seller Central and shipped through FedEx. They delivered it March 13th. Then about 10 days later FedEx re-rates the package saying it weighed 110 pounds and measured 50 X 28 X 13 inches. FedEx shows a delivery confirmation photo of the package we sent sitting on the guys front steps. You can clearly see it it's over 4 feet long.
The initial shipping label was accurate and cost $29.50 to send from Dallas to New York. FedEx re-rated the package and charged over $900 for it!!!! Amazon then took that money from our account. I have no spent HOURS AND HOURS on the phone with both FedEx and Amazon. FedEx looked at the photo and they acknowledge they screwed up. They're trying to get us reimbursed but because the shipping label was purchased through Amazon they cannot reimburse us. FedEx is requiring that Amazon call them to verify the account info. However, absolutely NO ONE at Amazon will call FedEx to get this happening. I've sent Amazon the phone number and FedEx case reference number and all I heard from Amazon was the "seller support" person's goat in the background. Literally.
I have created numerous cases with Amazon, spent hours on the phone with them, and all I get are idiotic goat f&c*ers responding back to me and none of them read the information provided or look at the very clear photos that show FedEx screwed up.
I'm literally about to file a lawsuit against both FedEx and Amazon. This entire situation is absolutely bonkers. The other option I have is to fly myself to Seattle and kick in Amazon's front door and burn the place down. Their stupidity is insane.
Anyone have any suggestion what to do here that doesn't involve burning them down?

Hello @Seller_9nLQksgB6ahaR If you share a Case or Order ID I can monitor the case and determine what next steps need to be taken to escalate the dispute.
