item_description search suppression due to HTML

We have a problem with search suppression on multiple ASIN with error "Remove any non-compliant mark-up from attribute [item_description] to ensure your data meets with Amazon's guidelines; don’t use HTML, JavaScript or other types of code in your product detail pages."

We have been trying to resolve this for 6 weeks and tried;

  1. A+ Content removed and reapplied with new template
  2. Product Description Updates
  3. Delete and relist with full update files
  4. Browse Node Attribute: We have confirmed with Seller Support that the browse node attribute has been updated, yet the suppression persists.
  5. Brand Support / Seller support communication

Despite multiple cases with Brand Support, including reassurances that issues have been "fixed," the ASIN remains search suppressed with no actionable or consistent feedback provided.

Latest case ID: 10730470032

Another forum where support resolved the issue but didn't advise how this was achieved; https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/2dc5a48f-7143-46c3-97ef-2314851d643f @Glenn_Amazon

It won't be A+ Content as I don't think you'd even be able to include HTMl in that.

Have you got an example ASIN - others may be able to take a look and see if there is anything they can spot.

Though with regards to HTML - only </br> is officially allowed to generate a line break.
