Coupons vs Sale
Since I can't seem to use coupons any longer, has anyone had any luck with putting items on sale? As far as I can tell, the customer doesn't actually see that the item is on sale because they only see the new price. Seems like they're taking away the incentive if they don't show the lower price and that it's temporary. Just trying to figure out some way to get some visibility.

I don't do sales, I do promotions.
If you offer a % Promotion, it shows when viewing multiple items in search. You can do % off, or set minimums like $ amount or quantity.
The promotions won't show up on your store pages, unless you click an individual item.

Hi @OzzyandMags,
Thanks for the post and hope you had a good weekend. Please note that with the new Coupon pricing requirements, coupons are still required to have a discount percentage between the minimum (5% off) and maximum (50% off). Products will also be required to have a sales history before they are eligible to run, and a promotion price lower than either the "was price" or the recent lowest price.
If a product's price or discount doesn't meet these requirements, it won't be eligible for a coupon until all requirements have been met. The Coupon criteria has improved and your ASINs may now be eligible. I would like to point you to the Deals and Promotions webinar.
Best regards,
