Account Deactivating..

Hi,

I have had my account for the past 4 years on amazon with my own brand, Recently out of nowhere amazon KYC Team has asked to verify documentation. The verification keeps failing and they are not giving me an additional information regarding the documents i need to provide even though i have provided them with more then 10 valid documents. I now have over 1,000 units left in stranded and i keep getting the same response from the team. Can anyone please help with this as its putting so much stress on my team and my business and it will cost so much for return fees.

@Spencer_Amazon

Thank you

Hi @Seller_wli0oq0GyCzIJ,

I completely understand your frustration. We have been in the same situation since March, and no matter what documents or information you provide, Amazon simply keeps the account deactivated without giving any meaningful explanation.

I don’t know the specific details of your case, but in our situation we are fully confident that we comply with all of Amazon’s requirements, as well as the UK establishment obligations. That is exactly why Amazon cannot provide us with any valid reason for keeping our account closed.

We have instructed a solicitor who has successfully managed and won multiple deactivation and frozen funds cases against Amazon. He has carefully reviewed our documents and evidence and confirmed that our case is strong and that we will win in court. We are now proceeding with a Letter Before Action (LBA), giving Amazon 7 days to reinstate our account. If nothing changes, we will take Amazon to court to recover not only the frozen funds but also compensation for the losses caused to our business.

For your reference, I’ve shared below the links to the Amazon Seller Agreement and KYC requirements. If you carefully read them from start to finish and are confident that you meet all requirements, my advice is not to waste further time with Seller Support, but instead consider taking proper legal action.
