Need help changing the address for return address printed on royal mail postage labels , i ve made my new address main / default but when printing a label the old address is still being used for the return address

Assume you mean when buying labels through Amazon?
Go to Return Settings and click the "Manage Return Addresses" tab.
Click the edit "pencil" icon on the right against the marketplaces to change your return address
