Well, ODR doesn't include cancellations so your ODR will be whatever it is now. If the buyer leaves negative feedback then it may have an impact though.
You may be thinking of your cancellation rate which should be below 2.5%. If this was your only order in the last 7 days then you'd have a 100% cancellation rate. If you'd had 100 then it'd only be 1%.

I had to cancel one a while ago as the address didn't exist with Royal Mail.
Your pre dispatch cancellation rate with show the defect but only for 7 days, it isn't considered a serious violation and I had no repercussions from Amazon.

I have very occasionally gone over the ODR of 2.5% (to a max of 3.9% for five or six days) with no repercussions

If you can't deliver the goods, just leave the order alone and the system will automatically cancel the order without affecting the ODR and cancellation rate at all. However, I have encountered buyers leaving negative reviews after the system canceled the order, but not many.
