Misleading Limited Time Deal in Amazon
"Hello everyone,
I wanted to bring to your attention a concerning issue on Amazon. A large competitor in my category has obtained the Limited Time Deal badge on several best-selling products, despite not offering any significant discounts.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the prices have remained the same for the past 30, 90, or even more days. The "discount" is merely a 1-cent reduction, and the base price is listed as the absurdly high list price. This results in a misleading 30-50% discount with a prominent red badge.
This tactic gives my competitor an unfair advantage and deceives customers. I'd appreciate any guidance on how to report this issue to Amazon. Thank you for your help and support."
