Royal Mail Click and Drop - Manifest
Yesterday I generated labels, but did not send parcels. I wanted to Manifest/send everything today to get a better volume discount on the postage.
However Royal Mail seem to have Manifested yesterday’s orders automatically overnight so I have lost out on volume discount.
Is there anywhere in Click and Drop Settings to stop Royal Mail from Auto-manifesting each day?

In Click & Drop, go to Settings > Miscellaneous and tick the Allow future dated orders tick box. You can then choose which date you would like to despatch.

Phone RM, they can add another box to your click & drop page [orders ready for dispatch] shipments in this box will not manifest until you need it.

Be careful that you do not get charged an admin fee due to incorrect manifest dates. I had this when I first started. I printed and packed my labels on Tuesday (hypothetical day) with the intention of taking them on Wednesday. The manifest went through on the Tuesday but I still took my items on the Wednesday. I then got charged admin fees on all my items as the manifest was not in line with the RM system. The system was expecting my 20 parcels (again random qty) on Tuesday but they got them on Wednesday so it looked as though I was trying to send 20 extra parcels on the Wednesday without paying for them. They conveniently ignore the fact that they have a manifest on Tuesday with no parcels! Depending on how many parcels you did it might be worth recalling the entire manifest and printing new labels…unless someone knows another way to deal with it.

They should just remove the auto manifest option and make it optional, would make much more sense.
Instead you’ve to go to other setting to allow future postal dates.
I suspect the designer has never sent a parcel in their life.
