Sole trader - Business Trade Name Legal Entity
Hi All,
is anybody out there facing or faced legal entity verification issue from Amazon KYC process where seller is "sole proprietor" but Trade as a "TradeName".
We have been doing amazon business for more than 10 years and with same UTR, NI, Address and using our HMRC document to verify my business, which never reflects our"TradeName" on its statements other than name of person who registered as self employed. But in Bank account Reflects Both Name for business account which only considered as secondary proof by amazon in my understanding. What would be the solution to get my account verified if anyone can help please...

I'm guessing that you have your information incorrect on Amazon itself.
As a sole trader, regardless of what name you trade under, you will still be "Joe Bloggs" and not "Fabfast".
So your account should reflect this and only your Seller name should be "Fabfast". Everything else in your registration details should be you.

Ensure you have the "is the legal representative of the business" check box ticked in Identity section beside your name (below your trading name)
I had a similar issue verifying my vat documents, vat online doesn't show trading name whilst vat certificate does aswell as my personal name, ticked this box and on the next ask was verified.

I'm also having the same problem. All my details are valid and correct on Amazon but these muppets have difficulty understanding. They are impossible to deal with.
