Video reverifaction - phishing or real?

I’ve been selling on amazon for several years, no problems. Recently, I received the email at bottom of this message, from seller-reactivation Is it legitimate or a phishing email? (Note i had to edit the emails to be allowed to post the links) - The email came from seller-reactivation at amazon.ca , I have never had an email from this email before.

I can’t see any reference to this in my amazon account when I log in, but I am currently going through the “account at risk of deactivation” because of the INFORM Consumers act, (I am just waiting to recieve info from tax office to confirm my tax ID in a letter so I can scan and send to amazon, everything else is verified/green tick). Note - I am not suspended currently.

When I clicked through to the form in the email, it asked me some brand questions, and then asked me to input my merchant token. It seems very un-amazon like but I have read that some people have had similar experiences that were genuine, although these appear to be new sellers, and I am experienced/have sold FBA USA for several years

The email:

Dear Seller,

Your Amazon selling account will be deactivated on 06/22/2023 in accordance with Section 3 of the Business Solutions Agreement. Funds will not be transferred to you but will stay in your account while we work with you to address this issue. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account. Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement can be found at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/1791.

Why is this happening?

For your security, we need to verify your identity.

How do I verify my identity?

You need to complete virtual identity verification over a video interview. To reserve a time slot for the interview, fill out the form here

au1 qualtrics dot com xxxxx (xxxxx = tracking link redacted for security - I had to simplify the link to be allowed to post this)

After we receive your response on this form, we’ll invite you for the interview on one of your preferred times. After your verification interview is complete, we will review the results and respond with the outcome within 3 business days.

What happens if I do not sign-up for virtual identity verification?

If you do not schedule an appointment using the form provided by 06/22/2023, or if your verification is not successful, your account will be deactivated.

We’re here to help

If you have questions about this policy or the information requested above, please contact seller-reac

I would be very hesitant to complete any form unless confirmed by Amazon that it’s ok.
