Do we need to get VAT registered for Remote fulfillment With FBA Program.
Hi,
I want to expand my product to All Europe using Remote Fulfillment with FBA Program but I am unsure of few things.
I hope you can guide.
1. Do I need to get VAT registered in UK to sell in Europe using RFWFBA Program.
2. If I don't need VAT. Am I Responsible for Laws and Taxes for Europe.
Would love to hear from anyone who have inventory in UK and is selling in Europe.
Thanks

Hi @Seller_jQcT4zDZgR5Ag,
Based on the help page Remote Fulfilment with FBA:
No, "With Remote Fulfilment between the UK and EU, you generally aren't required to register for Value Added Tax (VAT) in the destination store."
The tax responsibilities are handled as follows:
- For B2B sales: The buyer is the importer of record and pays import VAT and duties
- For B2C sales ≤ €150/£135: Amazon accounts for what the buyer pays at checkout
- For B2C sales > €150/£135: The buyer is the importer of record and pays import VAT and duties
However, you must ensure your products comply with local regulations in your intended store.
(Note: As mentioned in the help page, this VAT information is for general reference only and is not tax advice. Consult your tax advisor for further information.)
All the best, Ezra!
