Proof of business address for verification
Hi, so while creating my account, I mistakenly registered as an individual and was told by members of this group it had to be a business account since I am not selling my own used stuff. I went to change the business type in my seller account to a privately owned business. I was asked for a letter indicating i was the legal representative which I uploaded. I am now being asked for proof of my address as the primary owner and proof of address of the business. Just wondering if the proof of address for the business can be a bank statement in my name or it has to be in the name of the business because I never opened a bank account in the business name besides its a sole proprietorship not a corporation. any help is greatly appreciated.

You really would be wise to have a separate bank account for your business, as using a personal account makes it so much more complicated trying to extrapolate your business transactions from personal ones when doing your accounts for HMRC.
