drop in my seller rating, which has declined significantly from 218 to 12
Today, upon logging into my account, I noticed an alarming drop in my seller rating, which has declined significantly from 218 to 12. This unexpected change appears to be due to multiple products in my catalog being categorized as containing Kava Kava. I want to clarify that I have never sold any products containing Kava Kava, nor do I offer anything remotely similar. In fact, I was previously unfamiliar with this ingredient, and I am certain that its categorization in my listings is incorrect.
This misclassification appears to be a significant technical issue on Amazon’s end, as it does not reflect the actual products I sell. I have already taken the necessary steps to contact customer support, appeal these categorizations for each affected product, and am fully prepared to cooperate in any way to expedite a correction.
Unfortunately, this situation is already having a severe impact on my business, and a prompt review and resolution are critical. Could you please clarify if this categorization process is automated or human-verified? I kindly urge the Amazon team to prioritize the review of this case to prevent further damage to my account and business operations.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

A few years ago there was the occasional listing taken down due to it containing some illegal drug or other which it actually didn't. On investigation it turned out to be due to an error within the listing on another marketplace.
Sometimes it would be for example a mistranslation on one of the other EU sites or something that had been added there by an unknown 3rd party.
Other times it would be because the ASIN was in use for a different product, or changes had been made to it there and it was bleeding across in the background. Amazon Japan popped up quite a bit as being the problem.
All to say although it may well be resolved painlessly, you could also need to do some digging yourself if you hit a brick wall. Plus you won't get a response from Amazon on here unless you copy one of the Mods into your post - even then it is unlikely unfortunately.
