1 star with no review
Does Amazon allow anyone to write a review or do they require an order to leave a review? Ive had several products where I get few 5 star reviews (with text and sometimes photos) and then will randomly get a 1 star with no comment or anything at all. If its a customer, it is what it is, they can always return the product and leave their experience - BUT I have a strong feeling that these are actually competing sellers trying to knock the star ratings down.
Im probably just paranoid, but its so hard to get any customer to leave a review in the first place, the random 1 stars really kill the product rating.

anyone can leave a review, if it's an actual purchased product it will say "Verified purchase" And yes, those are other sellers attacking your product. It's become an every day thing on Amazon. Reviews are tainted everywhere

It COULD be worse since you can get negative FEEDBACK even if you had to cancel an order.
It's Amazon. You either learn to live with the insanity or you just sell elsewhere.

These models take into account factors such as how recent the rating or review is and verified purchase status. They use multiple criteria that establish the authenticity of the feedback. The system continues to learn and improve over time.
We do not consider customer ratings without an Amazon Verified Purchase status in a product’s overall star rating until a customer adds more details in the form of text, image, or video.
