Why is there no information about IOSS displayed in my order details?

My order amount is only 28 euros, why is there no information about IOSS displayed in my order details? Is it because the buyer is a corporate buyer. What should I do if the courier company asks me to provide an iOSS number?

Business buyers on Amazon don't get charged the VAT for the order, so there is nothing for Amazon to collect and remit, meaning the IOSS system doesn't get used.

I know this has been a problem for a lot of people in the past. I think there might be a way of sending the parcel along with the recipient's VAT number to prevent it attracting customs charges, but I'm not sure.

The other option is for you to send it using a Delivered Duties Paid service. That means you'll be paying taxes that you shouldn't have to, but at least the parcel will get to the Buyer without any issues.

Just to be clear, you can't use the IOSS number in this case.
