VTR 1st/2nd Class Problem
My current VTR has dropped to 94.4% due to 4 orders sent 1st and 2nd class but with tracking/barcode numbers put in the tracking field. All 4 tracking numbers show as ‘Delivered’ yet all are coming up as Invalid. Am I doing anything wrong? Is there any reason these would show as invalid given they were all correctly (I assume) entered into the tracking field against 1st class and 2nd class. Any insight would be much appreciated.

94.4% really is nothing to worry about.
Are you buying your postage from the PO ? - and entering the number from the POP receipt ? - or buying via Amazon’s Buy Shipping ?
If the PO, you need to enter it without spaces and hyphens.
If from Amazon then all your shipments will be validated, so all OK…
The drop probably just means that they were not scanned on delivery

Hello @Chris2,
This is Virgil from Amazon to help you with your concerns.
Thank you for providing insight into your current account status. My goal is to give you further guidance on the next steps.
A package that does not include verified tracking information will have value as “No” in the “Has Valid Tracking Number” column of your VTR report. If you have uploaded a tracking number but it is marked as unconfirmed, this might be because of the following:
- The tracking ID you provided is incorrect.
- Your tracking number is correct, but it is not associated with the carrier you specified. For example, if you use “DHL” to ship a package but enter “FedEx” as the carrier name, the tracking information will be marked as unconfirmed.
- You used a non-integrated carrier that is not listed in the Carrier drop-down list in Confirm dispatch section on Order details page. As a result, we cannot verify the tracking status and therefore the shipment does not count towards your VTR. For more information about the list of exempted shipments for VTR calculation, go to Valid Tracking Rate (VTR).
- The tracking number was uploaded after the order has been delivered. This means that it was not useful to the customer and does not count towards your VTR.
For greater details, please visit Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) FAQ.
In order to get an in-depth understanding of your issue, and to assist you better, we would request you to kindly post the Valid Tracking Rate report.
Also as suggested by @JillyB1, please confirm the scan status of your orders.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Best Regards,
Virgil.

Thanks, as per your suggestion here are scans of my VTR report showing 5 orders with alleged Invalid tracking status - 4 of which are actually shown delivered.
In each of those 4 cases, I believe the tracking was uploaded prior to the items being delivered:
The scans above show 1 Hermes (Evri) and 3 Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class confirmations of delivery.
-
Hermes COOHHA0371032456 was delivered 2 June (estimated date for delivery up to 8 June)
-
Royal Mail 050BB319F48 2nd Class was delivered 9 June (estimated date for delivery was up to 12 June)
-
Royal Mail 050BC14F8FC 1st Class was delivered 16 June (estimated date for delivery was up to 16 June)
-
Royal Mail 050BB7C31F0 2nd Class was delivered 9 June (estimated date was up to 12 June)
Any insight as to why these 4 are therefore shown on my VTR report as Invalid would be welcome.

I am still having a real issue here, predominately on my 1st and 2nd class trackings continuing to be shown as Invalid. I am quite certain they are all being entered correctly, on time and have been delivered before the due expected date yet despite showing as ‘Delivered’ they’re all still shown as invalid (an extra 2 now added onto report since I started this thread).
It’s annoying and frustrating - I don’t see why I should be forced to use Buy Amazon for my 1st and 2nd class mail when I get the tracking from the post office and they have all been confirmed as ‘Delivered’. Can anyone here, or from Amazon, please offer some insight into why my 1st and 2nd class parcels keep being shown as Invalid? Thanks.

Are they all invalid or just a few of what you send?
