GPSR Compliance: Manufacturer Information for Private Label Sellers

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding GPSR compliance and the requirement to provide Manufacturer Information. As a Private Label seller, protecting the identity of our manufacturers is critical—it’s a trade secret that we don’t want exposed to competitors.

For those of you who also sell Private Label products, how are you handling this requirement? Are you disclosing your manufacturer information publicly, or is there a way to comply with GPSR while keeping this information private?

I’d really appreciate insights from others in the same boat. How are you balancing compliance and protecting sensitive business details?

Thanks in advance!

Looking forward to hearing your experiences and advice.

Best,

June

I believe the only answer would be....lie.

Take your Dr. Maya store - you already state a manufacturer on a number of those listings. Now thats either the correct company name, or not.
