Monthly Summary Reports

Hi All,

I don't know if I have missed an announcement or what but having downloaded the Monthly Summary and Transaction Reports I notice the value of sales differs significantly to what is reported as sales in Business reports (I am aware of VAT implications and have taken this into account already). For the record I am looking at figures for the whole of September 2024.

Having asked Amazon why the two differ I get the usual nonsense so here I am asking if any of you have spotted this?

I note there is a new report called "Deferred Transactions" which as the name suggests shows all the transactions that have been deferred (allowing Amazon to hold on to our funds) which is good as we can finally see what is being held back. However, if I am correct (and again, Amazon are completely unable to advise) Amazon have deducted all the deferred transactions from sales in September hence the difference in values on reports.

Has anyone else come across this and am I correct in thinking that they now deduct the deferred transactions from sales shown on the Summary Reports?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I noticed this. I also believe it's due to the new use of deferred transactions, as part of the DD+7 changes.

I think the "date / time" field, in the transaction CSV, is now the date the order goes from deferred to released.

This appears to have shifted September orders by a week or so and resulted in a lower sales, and VAT, figure in the summary report.

If this is true it should return to normal next month.
