just wanted to vent!
Another buyer that doesn't read the item, then requests a return, and Amazon automatically refund immediately - without it being zapped by the Post Office (impossible on a Sunday!). She claims she thought this was a CD, and can't play vinyl. It'll be interesting to see if I actually get the item back.

yep fair vent.
Though the oddity there is amazon refunding. What does the return request status say?
While post offices themselves are closed on a Sunday, Royal Mail Post Office locker boxes aren’t. I’d assume if a drop off took place at one of those, that could class as ‘a scan’

Sub Post offices are open on Sundays or at least the 2 here are.
If I used POs I could post on a Sunday. Not that it would go anywhere until Monday.
As @Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfhsays there are now Parcel Lockers. Also an increasing number of drop shops.

Maybe that is why then...I hadn't realised. The refund has been processed and money left my account. It is a shame thatthere is no real appeal against either stupidity, inability to read, or maybe just fraud!
