Hi,
I have recently added my own branded product to fba. I have launched with it at half price.
The product listing is not showing the discount so people don't know that it is heavily discounted. i.e My rrp is £29.99, my listing price is £14.99. The rrp isn't shown on the listing and the % price difference between the rrp and the sale price also isn't shown.
I have also tried putting the product in an actaul sale and that didn't seem to work either.
Can anybody please tell me what I'm missing, and guide me through how to get the % discount visible on the listing. Thank you.

To see a % discount Amazon has to establish what the external price is in other marketplaces such as your own site, ebay etc. It won't accept your own rrp as it could be set to be a sales ploy rather than an established price in the market.
To offer an item on sale it needs to be offered at the higher price for a period of time before it can be a sale item. Again it could be seen as a sales ploy rather than a genuine offer if it hasn't been offered at the higher price.
