Booksellers! Are scammers really trying to use this excuse?!?!?
"This book has visible black mold on it, which I am very allergic to. It gave me an asthma attack when I opened it. This was not disclosed in the description and I wouldn’t have bought it if it was." The funny thing is that I took a few pictures of the inside of the book (including a few pages) as well as the outside of the boo. There was no black mold anywhere. I always classify books that have anything like that as "good-" at the highest, but usually 'acceptable' and make sure to note an allergy warning. If I ever list anything in like that it has to be something worth more than $25.
Anyway, the point of this post is to warn other booksellers to take photos of the inside of your books as well as the outside so that you have proof of the condition you sent it out in. I'm hoping this issue doesn't turn into a fight. I already warned the seller that I will deduct a restocking fee if the book arrives in worse condition than it was sent out in. Fingers crossed this doesn't turn into a fight. Take photos of your books and describe accurately!

Hi there @Seller_qTJiCxRI8PpIZ- and thanks for posting this notice. Documenting item conditions to help prepare against any eventual claims is terrific guidance, and I do hope this post helped another seller adopt that practice!
I apologize I am just seeing this thread, though. What was the outcome here, was a claim filed by the customer?
Thanks for letting me know!
