Generic Keyword format and how it works

While listing my product in the product description page, there's a field where I need to fill in the generic keyword field. It's a single field.

  1. What kind of keywords can I fill?
  2. Can I use the same keywords in the product description?
  3. How do I separate each keyword ( comma or space )?

Im no expert, but you can't use brand names as a keyword, nor ASINs.

Amazon recommends you NOT use words already used in your description, title or bullet points.

Separate key words with spaces.

Hi there @Seller_MJfg2fQydFpDm,

You can use the "Use Search Terms Effectively" help page to show what should be entered for generic keywords. It will tell you the kind of keywords you might want to use and what is prohibited. In general spaces work just fine for separating keywords. Thank you for your understanding.
