Invalid charge method error

Hi,

Please help! I am unable to gain access to my Amazon account because I keep getting the Invalid charge method error on my account, despite having made numerous attempts to authorise the card, tried a different card etc. The error keeps coming up, and cant get into my account. Please can some one help, I have created a case but it could take upto 3 days to respond, and I wont be able to process any orders.

I was able to take a look at your provided case ID, and do see our team sent a response yesterday advising the verification was underway, but can take up to 48 hours. I also wanted to share this terrific piece @Connor_Amazonon the U.S. side of the forums on verifying charge methods, though the core guidance would still apply here.

If you continue to experience issues of this nature, please do connect with your financial institution to troubleshoot and ensure they are allowing the charge to process!
