Unable to add Australia as a region to my seller account

Hi all, I want to add Australia as a region to my current account, but when I click the register button located on the Sell Globally page, it directs me to the Amazon.au login page. The problem starts here: if I click the log in button and enter my current credentials, it automatically redirects me to my North America account without any option to add another country. If you're wondering what happens when I click the register button instead of the sign-in button on the Amazon.au homepage, it prompts me to enter some information as part of the usual registration process. However, when I enter my current email, it says something like "this email is already connected to a seller account," which is my North America account.

I already opened a case for that, but you know, sometimes things take time to solve. Does anyone have a similar experience lately? I would appreciate any assistance. Case ID: 17286279851
