Error uploading copy identification card
Hello, can someone explain why I can’t upload my ID document. Amazone’s platform won’t accept the pdf file. I have scanned my ID card with high pixels, so that should be all right. Frustrating that there is no remark telling me what is wrong about the document I upload. The file consists of 2 pages, one showing the front and the other showing the back of my ID card.

I have also tried uploading 1 page, but still not succeeded. The file is 3.5MB, so less then 10MB the max allowed size. Very frustrating and time consuming…

Files won’t be accepted. It is recommended that you merge into one document, ie Images jpg. into word documents then uploaded as a PDF.

How can I upload more than one document at a time?
Sometimes, we may require several documents from you, and this number may be greater than the number of fields present in Seller Central for you to upload the documents. If this is the case, you need to merge the documents into one document and upload it to Seller Central to review. In order to do this, you can follow one of the two methods explained below that we would recommend you to do:
- You can merge the scanned images into a Microsoft Word document and create a PDF document. The easiest way to do this is to insert JPEG images into the word document and then create the PDF document while saving the file as explained below:
- Click on Insert on the toolbar at the top of Microsoft Word.
- Click on Pictures and locate the file that you wish to add to the document.
- Repeat the steps above with all the images that you wish to add to the document.
- Make sure that all the images are on separate pages.
- Click on File and select Save As , and select “PDF” as the document type to save.
- You can also use Adobe Acrobat to create a PDF.
Alternatively, while scanning the documents, you can opt to create a PDF document and scan the pages to create a single document.

Thanks for your reply Anglozone. I also tried uploading 1 jpg file, so just 1 page. That is: I scanned both sides of my ID on one page, saved this as jpg and uploaded it. I’ll go through the summary you sent me, but this should have worked?

Hello Anglozone, any idea if there is another way to solve my issue? I’ve also uploaded as described in the summary you have sent me. However, unfortunately this too doesn’t work. I’ve almost lost a couple of days now.
What happens is that it shows the uploading, however after pressing the save button there is no file, nothing… Thanks!
