‘Bought in Past Month’ Glitch Across All Listings – Anyone Else?

Hi everyone,

Is anyone else experiencing a widespread glitch with the “Bought in past month” figure across all listings?

As of yesterday, every single one of my ASINs is affected. Most of them typically show 1,000+ orders per month, but now they’re all displaying just “50+ bought in past month” — even though my actual order volume hasn’t dropped.

This seems to be a front-end display issue, but it’s concerning because that number adds social proof and trust for potential buyers. A sudden downgrade to “50+” across the board could seriously impact conversions.

I’ve raised a case with Seller Support, but so far no clear answers. Just wondering if others are seeing the same issue, and if anyone’s heard back from Amazon with confirmation that this is a known bug?

Appreciate any insights.

Yes. It’s a huge issue.

We recently launched and have a product that has build up sales. It’s not huge volume but we were showing 100+ in the bought last month number. Over the last 30 days we double our sales to over 250 on that one asin so we are at the same level as the top competitor. Then without warning it vanished completely. Like zero sales. Then the product vanished I found out that it was pushed into adult. It’s not adult so we had that removed and it came back 24 hours later. With 100 sold. Then two weeks later. Same thing. Vanished. I had it out back and it now shows as if zero sales. Clearly we ar being hit by a competitor that is falsely reporting as an adult product abs I’ve asked Amazon to sort this out. They have. But they say there is no way to put the number sold las month to visible. A huge disadvantage. So now it looks like nobody has ever bought it. ! To be honest I’m wondering at this stage how Amazon can have this sort of thing happen in their systems.
