Minimum order quantity confusion

Hey guys,

We are a bit confused with the changes in the minimum order quantity.

Amazon said we need to change the minimum order quantity before the 5th of October. On the 4th in the morning, we still could change the minimum quantity settings. This option has disappeared for the afternoon (Probably Amazon forgot to mention in which timezone they meant the 5th.)

So anything we were planning to change after that, has stayed with the minimum quantity. With the hope that Amazon will remove the minimum quantity centrally, we set that listing example for a pack of 3 instead of a minimum of 3 and changed the price accordingly. Of course, in some cases, we lost a percentage of our revenue as it was marked as an incorrect price so we have to sell it cheaper.

And now comes the twist in the story. The listing we set for pack of 3 lost the buy box completely, even tho we are the only sellers and still showing as minimum order 3. If a customer wants to buy it now they need to buy 9 of them. There is no option to change the minimum quantity. This is one of the ASINs as an example B0C6XNT5WY.

Anyone has the same issue?

I noticed that all of the ASINS where I had a minimum quantity has remained with that minimum quantity which frankly is a result as we had a number of cheap items which required you to buy multiple quantities so that would cover the postage. Removing meant, we would have no longer sold the item as it would have been unprofitable

So on Monday we reset the images, prices, and unit numbers as it was originally for minimum quantity. By Thursday morning all of them was taken down as incomplete and the minimum quantity disappeared. So all job done on Monday was a complete waste of time and we had to do the same as when we prepared for the change.

Now we have to reinstate all listings that had a minimum quantity to pack sizes.

For first look, the only good thing in the bad is that it seems to be the original price of the minimum quantity is added up and shown in the list price. So let's say we had a minimum 3 for 3.33 each in the list price now showing 9.99 and hopefully it will allow us to enter the multiplied price without marking it as an incorrect price.
