Brand Name Not Updating 5665 Error - B0D7Z5P9JC
Hello,
Im trying to change brand name of my product listings asin B0D7Z5P9JC and B0D8Q76WSQ which is set at "generic" right now, i am brand registered and i have ownership of trademark for the brand i wanted to update, but its not letting me do that, i didnt have any trademark when i made the listings that why i let it be generic, it was a mistake and now i want to update my brand name to my registered brand name "PRIMMAA" as even my EBC is active but brand name is not changing
Please would request seller support to fix it asap as its creating hurdle for me to launch my brand as these products are under one parent as two color variations and i cannot launch without my brand name in them

you can’t change a generic listing to a branded one- it’s a different product in Amazons eyes and will need a new listing

Hello. I am facing the same issue right now. I have opened multiple cases, but there has been no solution. Then I created a new listing having 4 color variations with a brand name.
Now the major issue is my inventory is stuck to the previous ASINs and Amazon does not shift inventory from one ASIN to another. Plus it doesn't allow me to merge the old listing with the newly created and the reason they are mentioning is "you cannot merge the generic listing with the branded listing." What a bullsh*t!
I am so stuck and frustrated right now. I started my Amazon business journey with so much passion but now I am bearing loss after loss because of all this. My inventory is still stuck to the old generic listing and I cannot sell that. I am about to quit because of all these losses. Like, how can you do this to small businesses? There must be a solution to this. Placing a removal order is not a solution, because it will again cost me the removal fee means more loss. But I cannot bear a single £ loss anymore. It's already enough for me.
