Can i link my website to my amazon listing?

Hi all,

I hope all is well.

I’m getting mixed responses from seller support as usual, sometimes i wonder why we even pay for their pro service when you never get the required support!

Anyway, my question is can I link my website to my amazon listing?

So when customers click ‘buy now’ for example, it then links them to the amazon website in the destination country?

In addition, can I link my amazon listing to my external advertising such as facebook, instagram etc.?

Thank you in advance.

All the best,

Olly

You cannot put anything on the listing that leads buyers away from amazon
Full stop…

You can however link your amazon listing on your website but not sure why you would divert away from an ecommerce website to amazon where you’ll pay 15% extra fees

Why would you want to?

Why give away money in fees?

If you want to guide overseas customers there, put a banner on your page for international customers to contact you regarding international sales, and then send them the relevant link.

Or there’s Sitestripe - though I think it’s only .co.uk

Update - seems you can do other Amazon stores, but not sure if you can do more than 1.

Apparently " It’s against Amazon Affiliate Program Terms of Service to use your own affiliate link to purchase products on Amazon.

BUT it’s not against Amazon Associates ToS to use your affiliate link to sell your own products available on the Amazon Marketplace."

But I would check Amazon Affiliate’s T&C first, as that article is 2 years old and they might have closed that loophole. I have been an Amazon affiliate since the beginning of time (it feels like it) but I am a fairly new seller here. I thought about it and wanted to check if it was allowed. Obviously I wouldn’t link from my own shop, but I have another website that doesn’t sell anything directly and that, if still allowed, is something that I might do for stuff that is FBA.
I looked at MCF the other day but for WooCommerce they want £100 just for the plugin so I filed it under something that I might do in future.

The direction of customers from your website etc to Amazon listings pages is (formally at least) encouraged by Amazon. When you put up a new listing - unless it has changed since I last looked - there is an option to Tweet/Facebook etc the relevant Amazon page. So, in theory they should not have a problem with the link appearing on your webpage.
