Unauthorized £30 Charge & Account Deactivation

I need some help, guys, as it's impossible to resolve this using the seller's case management section.

Dear Amazon Seller Support,

I am writing to address an immediate and critical issue regarding my seller account. For several consecutive occasions, Amazon has attempted to charge my bank card £30 for a service that I have never utilized.

I enrolled in the "Pay As You Go" plan when I joined Amazon and have not sold any items on the platform since that time. Therefore, I do not owe Amazon this or any other fee.

I demand that you:

Cease all further attempts to charge my bank card immediately.

Reactivate my seller account with immediate effect.

Please investigate this matter thoroughly and confirm the cessation of these unauthorized charges and the reactivation of my account.

I look forward to your urgent confirmation and resolution.

So basically - you didn't subscribe on the 'pay as you go' plan - otherwise they wouldn't be charging you £30.

You subscribed to the Professional Sell on Amazon plan, even if you didn't realise it.

To stop the attempted charges - you need to go here and downgrade each European store to Individual.

You then need to contact amazon seller support and explain you never used any services relating to the professional selling plan and they can, at their discretion, refund you (or in your case, cancel the debt). I repeat though, that this is at their discretion.

To @Seller_VmX5jahJdWnHi This is NOT seller Support you are addressing, only a forum of other sellers.

Many new sellers do not realise that as soon as they click on the orange 'SIGN UP' button they are charged the £30 professional plan fee (need to read the small print under the button !). To sign up for the individual plan it takes some scrolling down to find that option. You now need to downgrade the selling plan and you will not be charged again, BUT as other reply, if your account has been deactivated you will not get a refund until it is active.
