Unable to File SAFE-T Claim for Hazmat Order – Full Refund Issued Unfairly
Hello,
I am reaching out regarding a recent issue with a Hazmat order that was refunded unfairly by Amazon.
The order was delivered on time and in perfect condition
The customer only had a minor issue related to plug compatibility, not with the actual product
To ensure customer satisfaction, I voluntarily issued a partial refund
Despite this, Amazon issued a full refund, which caused a significant and unfair financial loss
Since the item is classified as Hazmat, the return was automatically closed by Amazon and marked as “non-returnable.” Because of this, the “File a SAFE-T Claim” option is not available on the return page.
I contacted Seller Support via live chat multiple times and attempted to open a case, but each time the support agent either did not respond at all, or closed the chat without providing help or escalation.
I’m now turning to the forum because I have exhausted all other options and still haven't been able to file a claim or receive any resolution.
I would appreciate any advice or guidance on how I can request a manual SAFE-T claim review or appeal this refund decision for a Hazmat order.
