Advertising invoices and costs

what the hell is Amazon playing at??? We can not see how much we are spending and instead we are seeing our account gone into negative this morning and its due to Amazon advertising cost. We normally pay for all our advertising invoices by end of each month and we keep track of our spending.

Its half way in the month and they have already taken past 2 weeks advertising fees from our account. Why are we not informed of these changes? and are they going to start taking advertising costs on a daily basis?

We can not see our invoices so will not know what we are spending. This is an absolute joke.......

I was surprised to notice this on our account this morning too.

I can only imagine the DD+7 witholding is not enough and cashflow is a bit tight for them so they've come to the well early this month.

I have opened a case, the Amazon team told me that every time the ad spend is more than 500, it will be charged once, if the ad spend is less than 500, Amazon will charge the remaining cost of the previous month on the 2nd of the next month, you can go to Advertising Reports - Sponsored ads billing to find the advertising invoice.

Hope I can help you

Interesting reading others replies..... this has always been the case for me. They take the money approx 4 times a month, around £600 each time. Been on the platform for 10+ years.

Hello @Seller_Ltq0iKiIdyMv3

Following up on this thread. Based on your information, and as per some peer seller's advice, the reason of charge may be because the credit limit was exceeded before the month end.

You can get more information related to those actions on these help pages:

Billing Frequently Asked Questions

If you exceed your credit limit before the month is over, you may be charged more than once per month and see an invoice overlap. If you don't exceed your credit limit, you're charged only once per month, the first week of the month.

Understand Amazon Ads charges and invoicing

Any assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support channel.

Regards,

JiAlex
