If I have Brand Registry in the UK, can I use it to sell in the US?

I've just submitted my Brand Registry application after receiving my trade mark certificate in the UK last week. My question is am I able to sell in the US and have the same protections because I have Brand Registry in the UK? I really don't want to sell as generic.

To be eligible for Amazon Brand Registry, your brand must have one of the following:
- An active registered trademark in each country where you wish to enrol.
