How do i know what to put in for tracking ID

im a new seller, and just made my first sale ( very exciting). When I go to confirm the dispatch it asks for a tracking ID, and I’m not sure where to find a valid tracking ID? Where would I see/ find out what the valid tracking ID is for the sale? I am doing FBM. Would really appreciate any help.

You’d need to give way more info - letter, parcel, what courier, does the way you send it have tracking or standard 2nd class etc?

You only need to add the tracking ID if you are sending via a tracked method. If sending untacked then it will be exempt, BUT it all depends on what shipping method you are using and how you confirm shipment.

The VTR metric is new this year and there have been a few changes to it along the way that have flummoxed even many long time, experienced sellers, and are still struggling with it.

To be honest, as a new seller I would be tempted to go down the route of using Amazon’s Buy Shipping - you can choose whatever shipping method you want to use, and Amazon will automatically confirm shipment and upload any info when you purchase and print off the shipping label.
